The Python thing got made. Big disclaimer… the following link might not work for long, as I’ll quite soon realise the things I’ve not considered in this little script. But it works, a UTM URL generator with link shortener, built in Python and Flask. I put a basic style into it using TailwindCSS –… Read the rest

13.3 miles today. Quickest 13.1 for quite some time. Felt comfortable for most of it. Headed out at 7, I went round More Hall reservoir on a very sunny Sunday. It was really peaceful at that time of day.

Did 10.5 miles today. Slow and steady. I had the energy to do more but really needed a toilet stop, so stopped. It’s on Strava.

Thing I have learnt already in 2021: Gillette is not actually the best a man can get.

My little bio used to say I put stuff on Twitter. I’ve not actually been there since Christmas, and I’m not missing it so I feel now is the time to mention a new place I’m investigating. It’s run on Mastodon, which describes itself as “Social networking, back in your hands”. On the surface it… Read the rest
